And, this time on the mat Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016, Samsung introduced a new smart devices in the form of a belt.
Called smart because this belt has the ability to analyze information about the user, such as waist circumference, eating habits, and physical movement. The information sent to specific applications on smartphones. This belt is named WELT which stands welleness belt, and has a shape like a belt in general.
But beyond that, it turns out WELT is equipped with sensors and fittings can be connected to mobile users. From there, this belt can provide information, such as sitting or how many steps you have made the wearer.
WELT itself was developed by Samsung Creative Lab, which is a department that is more engaged in experiments at Samsung.
Despite having the look convincing, it WELT still in the development stage and is still a prototype. Therefore, for the time being WELT has not planned to be mass produced and released to the market.
