GNOME.Asia Summit 2015 was held. The event organized by the Community of GNU / Linux Bogor (Glib) in collaboration with the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Indonesia (UI Fasilkom) is none other than an international forum that brings together academics, government agencies, industry parties, students, as well as IT practitioners from within and overseas.
The event which took place from 8 to May 9, 2015 at the Hall of the University of Indonesia, Depok This is the 8th time held. Previously, this kind of event is often held in various countries in Asia, such as China, Vietnam, Taiwan, India, Hong Kong, and South Korea.
The purpose of organizing this event is none other than to be a forum for participants to share knowledge, innovation, and the development of the latest information on technology GNU / Linux and a variety of other useful applications. Own GNOME Desktop Environment is one of the oldest and graphic user interface in the GNU / Linux distribution.
Open from May 8, 2015 yesterday, GNOME.Asia Summit 2015 presents a wide variety of sources that a speaker, which include Aidil Chendramata (Director of Information Security, Communication and Information Technology), Mohammad Anwari (The Architecture of Ubuntu Linux), and Tobias Mueller (GNOME Board). Interestingly, GNOME.Asia Summit 2015 was attended by participants from various parts of the world, such as England, Germany, the Czech Republic, Australia, Taiwan, France, China, Singapore, and Peru.
