“Respecting your privacy is in our DNA and we build WhatsApp in order to know as little as possible about you. You do not have to give your name, and we do not also ask for your email,” said CEO WhatsApp, Jan Koum who insists he does not know anything about WhatsApp users.
“We do not know your birthday. We do not know the address of your house. We do not know where you work. We do not know what you like, what you are looking for on the internet or your location,” added Koum.
“None of the data ever collected or stored by WhatsApp and we really do not have any plans to change that,” said the man born in Ukraine this.
Koum expressed Facebook acquisition will not change the basic values WhatsApp in a matter of maintaining the privacy of the users.
